Tenant's Energy Review

UNDER DEVELOPMENT - DUE FOR LAUNCH IN APRIL 2008

Following on from the successful development and introduction of landlord's energy statements (LES), the British Property Federation (BPF) applied to the Carbon Trust for funding to develop a tenant's energy review (TER).

This will allow tenants to measure, monitor and benchmark their energy use and the carbon dioxide emissions that it creates.

Taken with their share of the LES for their building, tenants will be able to calculate their total carbon footprint.

The TER project will be developed by the BPF, the British Council for Offices,  Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and the Usable Buildings Trust.

The project began in Spring 2007 and should be completed by Late Spring/Early Summer 2008.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
